When Lizzo and Chris Brown met for the first time last weekend, she referred to him as her “favorite person.”

When the Juice singer ran into Chris backstage at the Millennium Tour on Saturday, where famous noughties musicians like B2K and Bow Wow played, she couldn’t believe her luck.

On social media, footage of Lizzo, 33, and Chris, 32, connecting has surfaced, and she can be heard begging the singer, ‘Can I have a photo with you because you’re my favorite person in the entire f*****g world?’

The artists then posed for photos, with Lizzo’s dancers joining in the fun as well.

However, the singer’s joy has been eclipsed by criticism, with some pointing to Chris’ previous problems, including as his 2009 attack on ex-girlfriend Rihanna and other legal difficulties.

Chris was sentenced to more than 100 days in jail in 2014 after breaching the conditions of his parole after the Rihanna incident.

Following their breakup in 2015, his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran accused him of controlling behavior and obtained a restraining order against him.

The Loyal singer was rumored to be under investigation for assault in June of this year, but no arrests or charges were made. The following month, it was reported that Chris was being sued by a maid who claimed her dog had bitten her in December.

One critic responded to Lizzo’s remark by tweeting, “Lizzo, we were all cheering for you.”

‘Chris Brown is your favorite of all the individuals on the planet?’ another enquired

‘Lizzo, my baby, look at me,’ one begged. TAKE A LOOK AT ME. This isn’t your face. I’m familiar with the real you. Listen, it’s just you and me, right? This isn’t your face. I know you’re not like that. Please.

Others, on the other hand, supported Lizzo, arguing that it was past time to move on and give Chris the benefit of the doubt.

Rihanna instantly forgave Chris and worked with him. Yet you’re still clinging to the past,’ one defended the stars.
