Injustice 2 is the sequel to the popular DC fighting game Injustice, and it’s coming out on April 2018. The Injustice 2 trailer features a lot of blood and violence which is expected from a superhero-themed movie, but there’s something else that caught my eye in particular.

The dcau injustice is a trailer that teases the violent action of the upcoming animated DC movie.

Several new pictures from Warner Bros. Animation’s forthcoming animated version of Injustice have been released, hinting at the vengeance that will split the Justice League. The pictures offer us an excellent look at a huge roster of famous DC characters, including Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Superman, and Green Arrow, as well as hinting at the upcoming drama.

One picture confirms that the animated adaptation would not shy away from the saga’s brutality, depicting Superman, who has been blinded by the devastation and murder wrought by the Joker, punching a hole through the iconic villain’s chest, perhaps in a deranged quest for a heart.

In Injustice, an all-new DC Animated Movie, the Justice League will be split apart when an unfathomable tragedy pushes Superman into a dangerous new mentality, pitting members against one another. The animated film Injustice is set in an alternate world where The Joker has duped Superman into killing Lois Lane, sending the Man of Steel on a deadly rampage. It is based on NetherRealm Studios’ popular video game Injustice: Gods Among Us and Tom Taylor’s best-selling DC graphic novel Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year One. Superman, insane, seeks to seize control of the Earth for the sake of mankind. Batman assembles a group of like-minded freedom fighters in order to stop him. Can the planet survive if Super Heroes go to war?

The animated version of Injustice features an ensemble voice cast that includes Janet Varney (The Legend of Korra, You’re the Worst) as Wonder Woman, Brandon Michael Hall (God Friended Me) as Cyborg, and Kevin Pollak (The Marv) as Batman, led by This Is Us and Smallville star Justin Hartley as Superman and Star Trek Discovery and Hell on Wheels star Anson Mount as Batman.

Plastic Man is played by Oliver Hudson (Rules of Engagement, Nashville), Lois Lane is played by Laura Bailey (Critical Role, Avengers Assemble), and Rama Kushna is played by Rama Kushna. Faran Tahir (Iron Man, Star Trek) plays Ra’s al Ghul, Derek Phillips (Friday Night Lights, 42) plays Nightwing & Aquaman, Yuri Lowenthal (Ben 10 franchise, Young Justice, RWBY) plays Mirror Master, Flash, and Shazam, and Yuri Lowenthal (Ben 10 franchise, Young Justice, RWBY) plays Mirror Master, Flash, and Shazam. Damian and Jimmy Olsen are played by Zach Callison (Steven Universe, The Goldbergs), Green Lantern is played by Brian T. Delaney (Fortnite, Batman Unlimited), Captain Atom is played by Fred Tatasciore (Family Guy, American Dad!) and Mirror Master Soldier is played by Andrew Morgado (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow).

From a script by Ernie Altbacker, Matt Peters (Justice League Dark: Apokolips War) directs this no holds barred version of Injustice (Batman: Hush). As producers, Jim Krieg (Batman: Gotham by Gaslight) and Rick Morales (Mortal Kombat Legends series) are on board, alongside Associate Producer Alyessa Ornelas (Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge).

The feature-length animated adaptation of Injustice, inspired by characters from DC comic books and produced by Warner Bros. Animation, DC, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, will be released on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack (USA $39.99 SRP; Canada $44.98 SRP), Blu-ray (US $29.98 SRP; Canada $39.99 SRP), and Digital on October 19, 2021.
