Timberwolves logo facelift is a ploy

I bet you didn't know the Minnesota Timberwolves changed their logo. You wouldn't realize they did unless you got the email and package the organization sent out, announcing the big news. The Timberwolves didn't so much change their logo as they gave it a 'facelift' as they called it.

The new logo was designed by Adidas and features white on the wolf's head, a redesigned tree line and a new font for the script 'Minnesota Timberwolves.' The organization's reason for the redesign is 'something that would mark the next era of Timberwolves basketball.'

The team also developed a completely new secondary logo, which depicts a wolf howling with a basketball in the background. The Wolves will introduce their new uniforms in August.
